Campus Ministry
The Campus Ministry Program at Tri-Cities Prep is built upon the mission and values of our school. It challenges students to bring the light of Christ to the world, while inviting them to deepen their faith through weekly liturgies, retreat experiences and service to others.
Liturgies
Each Friday Mass is celebrated as a sacred offering and culmination of the week’s activities. The Eucharistic celebrations involve students as lectors, altar servers, extraordinary ministers and musicians, and bring the community together in a spirit of praise and thanksgiving.
Retreats
Class retreats take place throughout the year, each with a theme and spiritual focus. Through the sacraments, prayer, and friendship building activities, students are called to conversion—to the embracing of God’s will in their lives. They are also challenged to build God’s kingdom on earth, and to be salt and light for the world.
Service
Tri-Cities Prep students are required to complete 140 service hours prior to graduation. Freshman and Sophomore service focuses on neighborhood, parish and school, while the upper classes make independent service commitments to agencies within the community. The service component of campus ministry is aimed at forming students to be men and women of conscience and compassion who recognize that love of God finds true expression in our love of neighbor and our concern for others.
The spirit of Campus ministry is woven into the very fabric of Tri-Cities Prep. It invites students to a deeper relationship with God and with Jesus Christ whom He has sent, and helps make our school a vibrant community of faith.
